Shopping Tips

Every time when I saw the discount signs & sales banner, I'll start jumping around like a silly bunny. On top of that my heart will start beating fast. I guess that is one of the reasons why I don't go to gym.  I do my exercise in the mall when I shop. I walk the entire mall (which I think equal like walking on the treadmill) with shopping bags in my hand (which equal like doing some cardio ;D ). When it comes to shopping women can become crazy!!! (Please excuse our behaviour) I guess men laughing on the floor looking at our reaction when we shop. They never understand why women think Sales is like a war battles. 

I want to share with you, what I usually do before & when I go shopping. 

1.     First of all, I need to know how much I am willing to spend and keep remind myself to STICK TO IT! 

2.     Prepare myself. When there are Sales-- clothes flying everywhere, no shop assistant to spare, women can get uncontrollable brutal & too many people.  So keep calm and carry on.  

3.     Wear clothing that I can easily take on & off. So that it will be easier for me to try clothes.

4.     Eat before I go shopping because if not my tummy will sounds like nagging grumpy old women that make me not able to concentrate when I shop.

5.     When it comes to what to buy. I always know what I want. So I always directly head first to the store and avoid being distracted by everything else.  So I tend to go to the store that I like the best.

6.     Keep telling myself to be realistic. Buy something that I will wear & use. Stay true to my style. Don’t get swayed by trends that are not for me. 

7.     Mental note to myself only to buy things that genuinely make my heart flutter & not just because it is nice.

8.     Never buy things that I might want just because it is on sale. But things that I am sure.

9.     Buy little but buy the best quality I can afford. This way I can spend less, things will last longer and the things I own will never look cheap. ( Thanks God, I finally learnt this!)

10. Last but not least, Dear my own people never go shopping when you are tired or depressed. This sound logical but many women think a little shopping will raise their spirits. Trust me it won’t! You will tend to buy something that you do not need. When you come home & try. Nothing will look good on you & at the end you become more depressed.

I Do Drink Coffee & I Am a Coffee Drinker.

I often ask myself, if I had to choose between coffee here & tea which would it be? And for me it certainly will be COFFEE. Why is it I like coffee (with milk) so much?  

I like the taste of coffee. 

There is something magical about it.

 the aroma reminds me that all will be well & I deserve the best for myself. 

Latte & Mocha is my favourite.

This is one & only baby that I ever babysit in my life which is my cousin's A.  I babysitter him since he was 3 months. Of course with my aunt next to me to make sure I didn't drop him. Before this I never babysit anyone children in my life. It’s not that I’m running from babysitting.  I tell you what, I’m not good with babies read here & I’m afraid I’m the one who will end up crying cos the thought of the baby’s crying scared me. Few times I did babysit Cousin A. So now I realized that I enjoy playing time with him rather than feeding time, cleaning time & sleeping time 

Oh My Goodness, now I can say that I have so much respect for parents especially mothers. Happy Friday Lovelies & welcome to the weekend.

It’s a Mother Day this weekend!

Happy Mother’s Day to My Beautiful Mother. She is such a special lady & loving mother. I’m thankful to have been raised by such a graceful, kind & loving women like you.  She’s that person I can rely on, confide in & comfortable to talk too although we both disagree with some matters. She’s been my biggest fan & support system in my life. Travel feeds my soul. I find so much inspiration when I travel whether it is a brand new place or one that I already familiar with. There is something special when I see other places. I love nothing more than walking through the streets of a beautiful city taking in the sight, smell, and sound.

Nothing can change my mood like a nice shower. I just like the way shower can relax my body and make me feel cleaner.

People

There is nothing more meaningful in life than people, especially people that I love & cherish. I love the sounds of people. I love people. I believe that each person that I meet represent a world in me. A world not born until they arrive. It’s only by this meeting that a new world is born.

I love Watsons! I can spend hours in Watsons. I can get everything here from cosmetics, skincare to hair care. Every month without miss i'll come here. Somehow I feel that girls need a lot of things to maintain their class as a woman.  I’m sure every women love Watsons too like I do! 

ps- I do wish I own a store like Watsons or  marry the owner of Watsons. Without miss I definitely will be here, everyday! :)

No matter how much I’m embracing the idea of online shopping. I still couldn’t resist real shopping. I like the experience of going through the stores, running my fingers over the fabrics and most of all I like the feeling when I try the dress that I want.

I believe making complaint, sometimes disagree with things and saying NO are actually living my life fabulously. By expressing your honest feeling, what is on your mind and brave to show your weakness to other are actually living your life fabulously. You are fabulous the way you are. Things that make you go aahh & make me go wee!

I couldn't understand why people could ohhh, ahh & waaa over the baby. Yes baby are definitely very cute and adorable. Their soft skin, their little fingers and their size, it makes your heart melt like Haagen-Dazs Strawberry Cheesecake. But I always wonder how people could look and spend time with baby for such a long time. Give me 10 minutes looking at their face or maybe half an hour spends time with them & I can tell you I’m definitely done. Please tell me what else I need to see? Maybe I’m missing something’s here.  For goodness sake, the baby doesn't even do anything except crying & sleeping. I guess if the baby could speak, he/she will say ‘Yeah I know I’m superb cute but please leave me alone. I’m not a clown, I don’t want unnecessary attention. Go away! I need to sleep in peace.'

Or Maybe I’m not really a kid person or baby person. But I always keep telling myself that one day I could find one good reason about kid that can make me smile & love them.

Guess what? My wish comes true.

 When I came across these two photos (above), it makes me feel so excited & I start jumping around (oh yeah  ...I always do that when I'm in my exciting mode!.). Can you see why I’m so excited and start jumping around? OMG how super cute is these two little girl in handbag costume & Audrey Hepburn look. I feel like I want to kiss them, hug them & I want to open my arms wide for them to walk with me (any of them). I want to bring these girls to all the party, eat ice cream & shopping with me. (Obviously they need to look stylish like this during all those occasions).

I think the best things about kids are we could dress them in interesting clothes and they will still look cute no matter how ridiculously interesting the clothes might be. I love the cute children clothes & always fight the urge to buy things in children clothing. Sometimes I did end up buying for myself children clothes just because it fit me nicely (Tips for petite women!). I could foresee that my future girl will wear costume like this. Yes I know that children aren't dolls but I can't help but look forward dressing them in cute clothes. 

Weee! Now I’m officially could see a good things about them. So now I could declare myself as a kid person & a friendly baby. Hooray!

Funny Weird Little Habits & Guilty Pleasure.

• I love dressing up. Sometimes I’m fully dress although I just stay at home. I like to try on clothes after clothes when I’m bored. 
• I have a time when I don’t like to answer my phone. I call it ‘the phone phobia cranky mood’. I know bad habit! But the funny thing is I’ll text back almost immediately if people text me.
• I always order Whooper Burger when I went to Burger King and surprisingly enough I never try other burger on the menu. Please tell me I’m not the only one who obsesses over one specific food. You do too??? :)
• I am super obsessed with boxes. Almost everything that I own I’ll put in the boxes or little bag. I feel like everything needs to have their little home.
• I’ll make sure everything around me is clean and organize before I’m going to bed. I couldn’t sleep until everything is tidy and neat! Oh I guess my future husband will have a problem with this!
• Guilty pleasure movie.There are three movies that I’m addicted & never ever will get bored although I watched thousands of times. They are Confessions of a Shopaholic, Coco before Chanel & Devil Wear Prada. I love these Movies like crazy!
• I love strawberries! From cheesecake, ice cream and milkshakes to chocolates. I have no idea why..But I’m in love with this fruit. I think because when you cut strawberry into two you can see the shape of LOVE! :P
• I will sweep the floor or vacuuming when I’m stress. I am super obsessed with vacuum. I wish one day there will be a silent vacuum ( last week I found super cool silent vacuum, my wish come true!) so I can vacuuming in the middle of the night if I want & will not disturb others.
• My favourite colour is Purple but surprisingly enough I don’t own a lot of purple. There is something in purple that attract my eyes. If you wear anything purple, you better watch out darling! I might be staring at you. ;)
• I love, love, love handbag. I will never go out without carry one. To me a handbag is like a sister in my arm.
