Cluttering Man Wardrobe.

Hello Gentleman out there!

You want to build up a wardrobe that won’t go out of style. First forget about all the clothes you have or the clothes you want, you need to understand the basic. These are the only essential items that every man must have to live a comfortable, well-dressed life, trust me it is a long term investment and stocking your closet with your essential pieces can save your time & energy. 

1. White dress t shirt. It gives you instant dress up appearance & it matches well with anything.  Make sure you choose fabric such as 100% cotton & Linen.
2. Navy blue coat/blazer. It can be worn in variety occasion from formal to just hanging out with friends at party. It also can work with jeans & a polo
3. Black dress shoes. For any occasion that need some formality.
4. Dark jeans. A staple for men. It can be worn at a nice restaurant & almost everywhere. I recommend you to avoid baggy or skinny jeans and please stay away from trends it might look cool now but it won’t be in few years
5. Sneaker. For casual look.
6. V neck sweater. Look great with polo/t-shirt.
7. Watch. I realize that these days’ guys use their cell phone to tell time. To me when men have a classic timeless rock on their wrist, nothing better to reflect their charismatic personality look. So try to choose a quality, masculine & classic watch that you feel comfortable wearing.
8. Polo Shirts-.Another items that look well in many situation. Are great when you stay in tropical country like Malaysia or during summer period.
9. Pajamas & a swimsuit.
10. Don't forget you need good quality undershirts & underwear.

Style That Makes The Town Tick

 This is what I do the best while waiting for men when he is trying an outfit.

Gentleman out there, it’s time to brighten up your style! Spring is here & summer is on the way. It is the time for you to chuck your jacket. Trust me jacket is just cramping your style darling! :) If you live in the tropical country, it is the right time to look drop dead stylish. Let me tell you what you need. 

• Polo shirt. Ladies like a guy with an eye for style and a commitment to quality. That’s why raggedy Ts and faded shirts aren't going to do the trick for your style. I much prefer polo shirt on man rather than Ts.
• Cool pair of sunglasses
• Start wearing Hat and you can start saying ‘Hey look at me. I've got a hat on and I’m cooler than you’ :P
• Let’s stand up and say YES to short pants. Jeans sometimes is not so suitable for warmer weather. Choose pants or shorts that are cool and comfortable.
• Choose light cologne. It’s hot, everyone is sweating and irritable. So DO NOT comes through with that deep tone, strong, suffocating cologne.
• So for this season, don’t forget to choose a cool and fun one, in a light or bright colour and noticeable pattern!

Quick Fashion Tips for Men

1. Do not wear socks with sandals. Sandals are to be worn in summer when the temperatures are high. Socks not require.
2. Try before you buy. Then you will know what suits you and what not.
3. Invest in good suit. Suit is important for any types of men.
4. Do spice up your outfit with a little colour.
5. Don’t ignore your skins. Don’t take facial care for granted.
6. Don’t wear funny T-Shirts. T-shirts with funny messages on them look ridiculous.
7. Don’t wear dark brown & black. The contrast is terrible.
8. Invest in superb pair of shoes. A good pair of shoes can last you a long time. Think of them as an investment. Trust me, one things that women will notice, it’s your shoes.
9. Don’t unbutton your shirt too much.
10. Always iron your clothes.
11. Do mix formal with casual.
12. Get a great haircut.
13. Make sure everything fits impeccably. Most males wear clothes that are too large or sometimes too small.
14. Shave that face. Make sure your beard is trimmed, the bald heads is in fact bold and the nails are short & clean.
15. Big No, NO! To fashion Tees with logos, you look like a walking billboard. Coca Cola shirt/McDonald Shirts.
16. An undershirt is an undershirt. It is to be worn underneath your dress shirt.
17. It is always better to be a little bit overdressed than under dressed in a situation. All you have to do is think about where you want to go and who you are going to be.
18. Watches are the single most important accessory a man can own. Invest in one good watch that suits your lifestyle and taste.
19. Start from scratch. Invest in good tailored blazer, jeans & dress t-shirts.
20. Last but not least, take a women shopping with you. We will definitely help you to find some wonderful pieces. :)

To gentlemen out there, if you are in your 20’s try to experiment with new style. Shoes Styles for Men

If you think that man’s shoes are boring? You obviously haven’t been buying the right one. With changing times men have also grew a fascination for footwear. 

A must have men’s shoe style is Black Dress Shoes. Every man needs to have one. If you need a versatile, basic shoe that will take you a few seasons into the future. Go with this one. I think man always needs to choose a shoe that is darker than their suit. Black dress shoes will go with almost any colour suit. So don’t worry! You are on a safe side. Do remember! Always keep them polished and looking sharp. 

Man’s athletic shoes or sneakers. Those are casual everyday shoes. Even if you are not a sporty guy you need a good pair of sneaker. It always comfortable to wear and it look trendy. Try to be a bit bold by choosing an interesting design with bright colour. 

I prefer men to wear sandals rather than sports sandals. It slightly more formal version, leather replaces rubber. They are comfortable, plain and simple. It’s wearable at spring, beachwear and summertime. You can wear it with shorts and it looks nice for outdoor events with linen suits. Please never ever wear them with socks! :P

Loafers. Not every man will wear loafers. Not every man can carry loafers as well. There are few types of loafers. They are one of the most versatile men’s shoe styles. It can be dressed up or dressed down. I found it very classy when men wearing a loafer especially with a pair of khakis.

Bags for Men

I saw man constantly carrying bag and checking them in when I was at the airport. I think bags have become a necessary tool and style accessory for man. It’s no longer seen as women’s item. As a matter of fact more and more men’s realize how important it is for them to carry a bag especially when they are travel. There is a bag out there to fit your style and your way of life. I can see now man’s bags are masculine, attractive and contemporary. Personally I don’t really know about the trends of man’s bag. But if men ask me, is backpack is good choice? I will say NO. For me a bag pack is only a good  for hiking trips, for bikers, for athletic or for boys under the age of 12. Try others trendy bag like leather messenger or newsboy bag.

Office Wear for Men

To men when it comes to office wear remind yourself to dress smartly. Keep in mind the work culture of the office. If it is corporate office go for sophisticated look. Wear dark coloured or pin striped suits with a pale shirt & matching colour of tie. Avoid prints especially large, crazy colours & flowery ones. If your job relate to entertainment industry, media house and advertising firm you do have a freedom to add the sense of casual & stylish in your dressing. A pair of denim, a smart shirts & jackets looks good.

A Pop of Colour

Today I feel like writing a short post for men style. Let’s talk about patterns for men. Not like women, we do have a lot of options when it comes to clothes, pattern and colours. Men are a bit boring with their clothing. They tend to wear the same style for the rest of their life. What can I say, sorry man! Women are lucky when it come to fashion :D

I have seen a lot of men with stripes shirt. Yes it is a very classic pattern for men. In fact they seem to visualise slimming affect and it suit everyone. But be careful with horizontal stripes, it emphasis people’s width. If you are not slim so better don’t. I think now a day men need to become a bit bolder with their shirts. They need to wear something that makes them stand out from the crowd. Men need to make colour as their best friend. Choose other than common colours such as white, gray and black. Men need to start make themselves comfortable with bright colours and different pattern of shirt.

Mr Charming Well-Dressed Rebel

Can you really blame a guy for wearing his jeans a bit too high on his waist?  Well, No! But we can offer advice for better style.

When you wear a blazer with shorts, you get the feeling that you’re dressed up, but you’re still casual. It says ' I don’t work for The Man.’ Most guys, if they’re going to pull this look off, would probably be more comfortable wearing an unstructured cotton jacket with busted-up cargo shorts. It takes a brave man to wear a tailored jacket with tailored shorts. Which will look like this...

Do remind yourself whether you wear a crisp blazer or rumpled cotton jacket when you wear it with shorts, skip the socks. As Macko says, you don’t want to look like you live in Bermuda.
